Michael provides all of the following services for fiction, non-fiction, poetry, plays and screenplays.

He is an expert at extracting your story, adhering to the classic three-act structure, except when experimentation and play takes over.

If you wish to go the traditional route, Michael can advise you on strategies and viability. It is an extremely tricky market out there, and Michael knows the landscape.

The main advice Michael gives is write for yourself, and entirely to get your story out on to the page. A writer writes. It doesn’t always mean that a writer will be published. Michael only takes on projects that he finds viable.

Michael works with discretion. Many of his clients over the years have been published authors who were not getting the editing they desired in-house.

The fees for all the above services are negotiable. Michael expects an author that he works with to fully understand the landscape that they hope to publish their work in.

Here is how it goes. Please submit the first 500 words of the project. Or if it is a project that you are in the midst of imagining, send 500 words of your writing.  Tell Michael your fondest dreams and hopes for the work. Then, tell him your realistic expectations. Please attach a CV including your published works. But if you have never been published, never fear. Michael’s greatest passion comes from nurturing new writers.

If Michael is unable to take on your work, he knows a gaggle of amazing editors who he would recommend. He loves to matchmake, and would be pleased to Yente your work into the right hands.
